As part of its inclusive policy-making process, the Department of Housing and Urban Development on Saturday invited the public to submit concerns and suggestions.
To support this initiative, the Secretary Commissioner of the Department of Housing and Urban Development convened meetings with real estate stakeholders in Kashmir and Jammu on June 26 and 29, 2024 at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar and Jammu.
These meetings were held to gather valuable insights and opinions from real estate agents across Jammu and Kashmir on the proposed rules.
A comprehensive presentation of the draft Policy on the Allocation and Use of Transferable Development Rights and the draft Land Pooling Policy was provided, detailing the key features and benefits of these policies.
The presentation highlighted the government’s commitment to creating a sustainable development framework that takes into account the needs of all stakeholders.
