Adore Beauty’s $25M acquisition of Ikou is a great opportunity… for the latter company

Adore Beauty’s purchase of Australian cosmetics brand Ikou seems like the right kind of acquisition. But it would take up most of Adore’s cash and come in the middle of a CEO search.

After the deal was announced last Friday, shares fell 6 percent as investors likely questioned not only whether this was the right deal, but also whether now was the right time to make any deal.
