City of Sidney clarifies fireworks regulations – METRO

1. Fireworks end at 1:00 a.m. July. 5. Permitted fireworks may only be lit during the period from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. until July 3 inclusive and from 8:00 a.m. on July 4 to 1:00 a.m. on July 2nd. 5.

2. The eight-hour period allowed each year begins on December 31 at 5 p.m. and ends on January 1 at 1 a.m.

3. Such other dates as may be designated upon obtaining a special permit, which may be issued upon approval by the City Manager upon submission of the application.

There are five fireworks sellers in Sidney.
