Synthesia brings video AI to business – Gadget

Synthesia, a UK-based generative AI video company, has unveiled version 2.0 of its video communications platform for workplace communication and collaboration. This AI-powered platform simplifies video production and distribution, helping companies seamlessly adopt a video-first strategy.

More than 55,000 companies, including half of the Fortune 100, use Synthesia to communicate and share knowledge at scale with AI avatars. She has created over 10 million videos for employee training, customer service, sales and marketing.

New products and features include:

• Personal avatars are a new type of AI avatar that can be created using a webcam or phone camera in less than five minutes.
• Later this year, a new generation of full-body, fully controllable AI avatars will emerge that will be able to interact with their surroundings and share information.
• A tool called AI Video Assistant that converts an entire knowledge base of text assets (PDFs, Word documents, etc.) into a library of video summaries created with relevant branding elements, such as custom fonts, colors, or an organization’s logo
• A new product called AI Screen Recorder that lets anyone turn screen recordings into beautiful video presentations powered by AI avatars
• New video player offering personalized and interactive real-time experiences, including the ability to automatically watch videos in your preferred language
