“Indonesia is committed to supporting the development of renewable energy in Cambodia, particularly hydropower and solar power,” said Ambassador Darmosumarto. “We also look forward to learning from Cambodia’s success in transitioning to greener energy sources.”

In pursuit of regional energy security, Minister Keo emphasized the importance of Indonesia’s support for the development of the ASEAN Power Grid Initiative. This initiative aims to strengthen energy connections in Southeast Asia while respecting the sovereignty of each nation.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to increasing cooperation in the field of energy and minerals. This joint effort is expected to yield significant benefits by promoting sustainable development and supporting economic growth for both nations.
