Companies are looking for replacements for ineffective management staff in a difficult economic situation

San Churro CEO Kerri Wane and her team interviewed 108 candidates and shortlisted 28 before hiring Jarrod Appleby as the company’s new chief operating officer.

Ms Wane said the dessert chain needed an operations director who could cope with “really challenging trading conditions” to help the company achieve its target of opening 20 new stores a year – and Appleby met those requirements.
