Sony on Monday launched its new Bravia 7 smart TVs in the Indian market with its own Cognitive XR processor, mini LED and XR Triluminos Pro technology. It also includes features such as integration with Google TV and Sony Pictures Core, Sony’s movie service.

The new Bravia 7 series is available in 55-, 65- and 75-inch screen sizes. The new series is equipped with Studio Calibrated modes and is IMAX Enhanced certified. Moreover, it supports both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

According to Sony, the Bravia 7 series is equipped with a miniature LED panel with XR Contrast Enhancer, which increases image depth and detail by controlling the backlight, resulting in deeper blacks and brighter whites.

The new Bravia 7 series includes XR 4K picture upscaling technology and XR Motion Clearance.

The Bravia 7 Series is equipped with dual side speakers with multi-audio acoustics and Voice Zoom 3, which recognizes human dialogue using AI machine learning and amplifies or reduces its volume. With XR Surround Sound, 2-channel and 5.1-channel audio can be upscaled to 5.1.2-channel audio, Sony claims.

It’s also optimized for gaming with features like HDR Auto Tone Mapping, which automatically adjusts HDR settings for the best image quality. Automatically switches to PS5 game mode to minimize lag. When watching videos, it returns to standard mode. The new series is suitable for 4K/120fps resolution with variable refresh rate (VRR) and automatic low latency mode (ALLM).

The Bravia 7 series includes a game menu where gamers can set their preferences such as turning VRR (Motion Blur Reduction) on and off with quick access.

The new Sony Bravia 7 series starts at ₹1,82,990 for the 55-inch model, while the 65-inch model will cost ₹2,29,990. The company is yet to reveal the price of the 75-inch model. The other two models are available for sale.
