Wipro has announced the earnings release date and schedule for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024-25.

Wipro has announced its first-quarter results date and schedule for fiscal 2024-25. The IT giant disclosed this in a stock exchange filing dated July 1, 2024.

Wipro shares started the trading session on July 1, 2024 on the BSE with a positive price of Rs 515.50. On the BSE, the stock was trading at an intraday high of Rs 535.50 and a daily low of Rs 513.80. Shares of the IT giant closed at Rs 527.25, up 2.40%. compared to the previous close of Rs 514.90 on the BSE.

In a stock exchange filing, Wipro informed the stock exchanges that the company’s Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday and Thursday, July 18 and 19, 2024, to review and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the quarter ended June 30, 2024. Companies typically release their earnings reports after market hours, i.e. at 3:15 p.m.

“Condensed audited standalone and consolidated financial results of the Company in accordance with lndAS for the quarter ended June 30, 2024. Condensed audited consolidated financial results of the Company in accordance with IFRS for the quarter ended June 30, 2024. The financial results will be approved by the Board of Directors on the evening of July 19, 2024,” the company said in stock exchange documents.

As per the applicable SEBI regulations, the IT Behemoth trading window will be closed from June 16, 2024 to the end of July 21, 2024 (both days inclusive) for selected employees, directors etc.

Wipro’s consolidated net profit declined 8% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,835 crore in the March quarter of 2024. In the year-ago quarter, the profit totaled Rs 3,074 crore. Revenue from operations during the reporting period declined by 4% year-on-year to Rs 22,208 crore as compared to Rs 23,190 crore in the same period last year.

Wipro is a component of the S&P BSE 100. As per BSE data, Wipro shares are up 8.71 per cent in the last three months, 10.47 per cent in the last six months and 35.52 per cent in the last one year. Wipro shares were trading at a 52-week high of Rs 546.10 on the BSE on February 2, 2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 375 on October 26, 2024.

Wipro’s market capitalization in the BSE S&P 100 index is Rs 2,75,760.41 crore.
