‘The Buckingham Murders’ starring Kareena Kapoor finally sets a release date

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s much-awaited crime thriller Buckingham murdersdirected by Hansal Mehta, will finally hit theaters in India.

On Monday, producer Ektaa Kapoor announced on social media that the release date has been set for September 13.

This announcement follows Mehta’s recent statement: “We are currently working on a release date… it will release sometime between July and August this year.”

“The Buckingham Murders” caused a storm at film festivals worldwide

TBM is making a splash at film festivals around the world, even before its premiere in India.

The film first came to public attention last year when its first, deeply moving poster was unveiled.

It had the honor of being the opening film of the 2023 MAMI Film Festival.

The film premiered at the 67th BFI London Film Festival in October 2023 and attracted considerable attention due to its unique plot.

What is this film about?

IN TBMKapoor Khan plays Jasmeet Bhamra, a British-Indian detective struggling with grief over the loss of her child.

Bhamra then receives a complicated case involving a murdered child in Buckinghamshire.

The cast featured a stellar ensemble cast including Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar and Keith Allen. TBMThe script is written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakker.

Kapoor Khan’s 2024 film calendar is full of exciting projects

Apart from The Buckingham MurdersKapoor Khan has another major film planned for 2024.

He is part of the cast of the team Singham againdirected by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.

The film is currently scheduled to release on Diwali (November 1).

Meanwhile, the actor was last seen in the heist comedy Crewavailable for streaming on Netflix.
