Top 20 Renewable Energy Stocks for 2024

The 20 largest renewable energy companies in the market today may not be what you think they are.

Top 20 Renewable Energy Stocks

While it would be easy to simply list companies that make solar panels and wind turbines, that wouldn’t be very accurate or comprehensive. Indeed, a well-rounded list of the 20 best renewable energy stocks must also include…

  • Transmission and distribution companies supporting the transition to renewable energy
  • Companies that produce materials needed to make things like solar panels, wind turbines and geothermal heat pumps.
  • Companies that manufacture inverters that allow energy from a solar panel to be transferred to the electrical grid.
  • Utilities generating revenue by monetizing renewable energy plants
  • Companies that produce “system balancing” components such as fuses, cables, and switches.

My 20 Best Renewable Energy Stocks for 2024

In a moment, I’ll share with you my list of the 20 best renewable energy stocks for 2024. But first, let’s discuss why investing in renewable energy is critical to the health of your investment portfolio.

There is some excellent data on the growth of renewable energy. Especially from Bloomberg and risk management company DNV, which recently published its latest Perspectives of energy transformation. And boy, is it fun!

According to DNV, Global electricity demand is set to double over the next 25 years. And most of that demand will come from renewable sources.

Last year, wind and solar energy accounted for 13% of electricity generation, but by 2040 these two sources will account for 50% of electricity generation, and by 2050 this share will quickly rise to 70%.

In 2050, 82% of all electricity will come from renewable sources. Nuclear power will account for just 6% of electricity generation by 2050. Only 12% of global electricity will come from fossil fuels by 2050, although this transition will play out differently in different regions of the world. This is illustrated by a snapshot of regional energy mixes in 2040. By 2050, all regions will have well over 50% solar and wind in their energy mixes, with only northeastern Eurasia still heavily reliant on fossil fuels for power generation.

This extraordinary expansion and decarbonization of energy is being driven by both policy and drastic and ongoing reductions in the costs of generating wind and solar power. The levelized cost of energy (LCOE) for solar power generation is expected to halve by 2050, making solar the cheapest source of electricity at around $21/MWh. The LCOE for wind is expected to decline by 44% (onshore), 36% (offshore fixed), and 75% (offshore floating) by 2050.

Now I understand that some people will look at this and dig their heels in and deny that this transition away from fossil fuels is happening. And that’s fine. Don’t get me wrong. It is there is a lot of money to be made in the oil and gas industry. Damn, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t personally use this.

But again, strictly from a solid growth perspective, the data is clear. The future of electricity generation will be largely renewable. And long-term energy investors would be foolish to ignore that reality, so here’s a list of the 20 best renewable energy stocks for 2024…

You can also earn a lot of money private solar royalties.

If you don’t know, private solar royalties are the monthly cash dividends you can receive from various solar projects around the world.

Actually, it’s quite simple.

You see, there is a special portal where some of the richest investors in the world, like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Warren Buffett, can choose from a variety of solar projects, invest in one or more of them, and then immediately start earning monthly cash payments.

And these are not small payments.

The estimated internal rate of return on some of these investments is as high as 16%, but the best part is that the size of these monthly payments is not dependent on the public markets because these are not public stocks.

These are private transactions, and you receive your monthly payments directly from the company, regardless of whether we’re bullish or bearish. Your payments are locked in and can’t lose value if the Dow or Nasdaq falls.

Make no mistake: There has never been a better time to invest in solar energy, and there has never been a safer way to profit from the rapidly growing solar market than through private solar royalties. That’s why I created this short a beginner’s guide to private solar energy bills.

You’ll learn exactly how private solar royalties work and how much you can earn from them—and there are a lot of them.

In fact, there is one trade that can earn you around $98,325 in royalties with a monthly investment of just $100.

Of course, the minimum investment for these things is $100, but you can definitely spend more.

If we increase that amount to $1,000, the estimated amount is $983,255.

That’s almost a million dollars — just in monthly licensing fees.

This is probably the easiest way I know of to make a fortune in the growing solar energy market, but I encourage you to lock your royalty payments nowbecause there are only a few of these offers available right now. Once these close, there’s no telling how long it will take for another one to open.

In other words, if you want to start earning your own monthly royalties today, check out this guide to private solar licenses now.
