If you shop online often, you’ve probably heard of an e-commerce site called Temu. The Chinese marketplace isn’t known for its quality, but you can find some original items that are priced at par with Amazon.

According to ZDNET, Temu is the number one shopping app on Apple’s App Store and Google Play. The store offers almost anything you can think of, including clothes, bags, appliances, furniture, power tools, and more. Temu is a legitimate website, but some buyers have reported that the items they ordered look different on the website or are of lower quality than expected.

Amazon may soon use its supply chain operations to directly ship some off-brand products from China to the U.S., according to an Amazon presentation seen by The Wall Street Journal. But right now, you can find a much better deal by shopping through Temu.

Here are the best deals on legal products that are cheaper on Temu than on Amazon.

1. Bamboo sleeping bags for babies

Bamboo sleeping bags aren’t cheap. Even on Amazon, these highly rated Kyte bamboo zip-up socks cost $35 to $40 each. Temu sells a variety of similar bamboo sleeping bags for about $10 each, like this popular Miozing Bamboo Fiber Baby Sleeping Bag with an All-Over Bear Print.

In the video, YouTuber Filosophy purchased bamboo newborn sleeping bags from Temu and found the quality to be comparable to more expensive brands found on Amazon.

2. Artificial plants

Judging by the online photo alone, Temu and Amazon are selling the exact same four-pack of artificial potted plants. On Temu, the plants are selling for $6.83, while on Amazon, they’re selling for $9.99 (the original price was $14.99). However, YouTuber Oh!MGlashes reviewed both products and said that the Temu product is significantly smaller than the Amazon one. If the size difference doesn’t bother you, then the Temu might be a better option.

3. Pencil cases

It’s never too early to start back-to-school shopping. Temu sells a variety of school and office supplies, including this set of four clear zippered pencil cases for $6.98. Amazon sells the same set of pencil cases for almost twice the price, at around $11.99. Reviews on Temu say the bags are better than expected and can be used for school supplies, makeup, sewing supplies, or as a small travel bag.

4. Natural wooden hairbrush

Brushes are a popular item on Temu, and this natural bamboo brush is only $0.78 on Temu. The closest price on Amazon is $7.97. In a video review, YouTuber Jordan Budgets said that the Temu brush is much smaller, but the Temu one is well-made. Unless you have thicker hair, the Temu brush will work just as well as the ones you can find on Amazon.

5. Phone case

Phone cases are another popular product on Temu; most are priced under $5. This clear iPhone case is just $1.28 on Temu and has thousands of reviews from buyers. Amazon also sells a variety of phone cases, but a similar case costs $14.99 (originally $18.99). Temu reviewers said the phone case is durable, fits the phone well, and looks exactly as advertised.

6. Jar opener

Temu and Amazon are selling a 4-in-1 Universal Jar Opener. However, the item is listed on Temu for $1.99 and on Amazon for $9.99 (originally $19.98). Temu customers say the item works exactly as it should and has become one of their most used kitchen items.

7. Vegetable chopper

Temu sells a very similar multi-purpose vegetable chopper for $11.86, compared to the $19.99 (originally $29.99) vegetable chopper on Amazon. YouTuber Oh!MGlashes bought both products and tried them out on camera. She said the Temu version works, but you have to try a little harder to get the same results.

8. 40-ounce thermos mug

Still looking for the perfect Stanley knockoff? Temu is selling a 40-ounce insulated travel mug with a handle, leak-proof lid, straw, and stopper for $8.08. YouTuber Filosophy claims it’s the perfect budget-friendly knockoff and is nearly identical to the much more expensive Stanley mug. You can find similar products on Amazon, like this O’Jay insulated mug for $16.99 (originally $34.99).
