Apple Releases iOS 14.2.1 to Fix Bugs on iPhone 12 Devices

If you have an iPhone 12, you can update your firmware to iOS 14.2.1. The latest version of iOS is available now, but it’s only available for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 mini.

According to Apple’s release notes, iOS 14.2.1 fixes the following issues: Some MMS messages may not be received; iPhone-specific hearing aids may experience audio quality issues when listening to audio from iPhone; and the Lock screen may become unresponsive on iPhone 12 mini.

Some iPhone 12 users have reported issues with text messages not reaching group threads or notifications not appearing for messages they received. Others have reported audio quality issues with paired Made for iPhone hearing aids, as well as complaints about the lock screen responsiveness on the iPhone 12 mini. If any of these issues have affected you, updating to iOS 14.2.1 should resolve the issue.
