Realme Pad 3 spotted on IMEI page, could launch soon

Phone maker Realme launched its first tablet, the Realme Pad, in the Indian market in 2021. Since then, the brand has expanded its lineup with multiple tablet models, and now a new leak suggests that the third iteration in the Realme Pad lineup is likely to launch soon. While Realme hasn’t officially announced a launch date, the tablet has appeared in the IMEI database. The alleged Realme Pad 3 is likely to come with improvements over the Realme Pad 2, which is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and boasts of an 8,360mAh battery.

According to a report in Gizmochina, a new Realme tablet has appeared in the IMEI database, listed under the model number “RMP2402”. While details about the tablet remain scarce, it is said to be the upcoming Realme Pad 3. The upcoming tablet is expected to feature SIM support and offer improvements over the Realme Pad 2.

Details of the current Realme tablet lineup

Realme’s current tablet lineup includes the Realme Pad, Realme Pad Mini, Realme Pad Slim, Realme Pad 2, and Realme Pad X. The original Realme Pad made its debut in India in September 2021 at a price of Rs 17,999. The alleged Realme Pad 3 is expected to be the successor to the Realme Pad 2, which was launched in July 2023 at a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

Reports suggest that Realme is looking to improve the user experience with its upcoming tablet. With the launch of this new device, the company aims to increase its market share and better meet the expectations of users. The release date of the Realme Pad 3 remains unknown.

To recall, Realme launched the Realme Pad 2 in India in July 2024 alongside the Realme C53. The tablet sports a 120Hz refresh rate display, up to 16GB of RAM options, and is backed by an 8,360mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Running on the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, it was launched in various RAM and storage configurations. Realme claimed that the tablet can deliver up to 17 hours of video streaming on a single charge.

The Realme Pad 2 has an 11.5-inch display with a 2K resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has a peak brightness of 450 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of 85.2 percent, and claims to offer vivid visuals. Furthermore, Realme has included a virtual RAM feature that can expand the total RAM capacity up to 16GB.
