Audio Advice Expands with Acquisition of Audio Lab

Audio Advice announced the acquisition of The Audio Lab, which has been serving the Coastal Carolina region from its Wilmington store for over 30 years.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome The Audio Lab and its incredible team to the Audio Advice family. We believe this combination will allow us to provide the best of both worlds to customers throughout the Carolinas,” said Scott Newnam, CEO of Audio Advice.

Audio Advice has large, modern showrooms in Raleigh and Charlotte where customers can explore everything from smart home systems, controlled lighting and blinds, to every level of audio and home theater products.

“I am incredibly proud of what we have at The Audio Lab and I couldn’t be happier that our team has joined the Audio Advice family. The more I learn about Audio Advice and the acceptance they have given to our team, the more excited I am about our team,” notes Bill Rudisill, Owner of The Audio Lab. “Audio Advice brings a level of training, reputation and investment to our team and showroom that makes me incredibly happy.”

Acquisition of Audio Lab increases Audio Advice’s ability to service Karolin

Gregg Chopper, Audio Advice’s COO, emphasizes that with the addition of The Audio Lab to the company’s roster, the specialist audiovisual equipment and installation company is better positioned to assist homeowners across the South, including the Carolinas.

“In addition to providing The Audio Lab customers with combined expertise in Wilmington, this combination allows us to better serve our customers who have second homes in beach towns. We now have by far the largest team of expert salespeople, system designers, installation technicians, and service and support personnel in the Carolinas. This should allow us to fulfill our mission of ‘Delivering Happiness’ to an even greater number of customers,” Chopper explains.

Audio Advice is nationally known for its audio and home theater expertise, including a library of more than 750 how-to videos, product reviews and buying guides, as well as its Home Theater Design Tool, which is available for free on the company’s website.

“We believe in having large, best-in-class showrooms that allow consumers to touch, feel and experience everything before they buy. While this requires a significant and ongoing investment, we believe it provides tremendous value to consumers and brands. To that end, we will be investing in The Audio Lab showroom in Wilmington to align with our other award-winning showrooms,” Chopper adds.
