NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading in mixed trade at 10:09 am on Tuesday.

Top gainers included Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd. (up 4.91%), Pokarna Ltd. (up 2.29%), Oriental Trimex Ltd. (up 2.21%), Coal India Ltd. (up 2.01%), MOIL Ltd. (up 1.09%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. (up 0.32%) and KIOCL Ltd. (up 0.18%).

Top losers included Lexus Granito(India)Ltd. (down 2.06%), NMDC Ltd. (down 1.46%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd. (down 0.80%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd. (down 0.70%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd. (down 0.45%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd. (down 0.30%) and 20 Microns Ltd. (down 0.19%).

The NSE Nifty50 index was down 6.96 points at 24,135.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 28.01 points at 79,448.18 around 10:09 am.

Top gainers on the Nifty included Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 2.06%), Coal India Ltd. (up 2.04%), Infosys Ltd. (up 1.19%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 1.16%), Wipro Ltd. (up 0.96%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 0.88%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (up 0.84%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 0.78%), LTIMindtree Ltd. (up 0.69%) and Cipla Ltd. (up 0.61%). On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 2.34%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 2.11%), Shriram Finance Ltd. (down 1.86%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
