Get into the spirit of the Olympic Games with the Olympic collection at Trendyol

With the biggest sporting event of the year kicking off this month, one of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms is launching a collection worthy of such an important event.

Trendyol – Turkey’s leading e-commerce brand – unveils Olympic collection ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to celebrate the sports festival

The collection, which launches July 2, includes T-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, dresses, hoodies, baseball caps, hats, beach towels and canvas bags.

Olympic fans will be able to purchase these exclusive products via the Trendyol app in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Germany, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Gulf States. This means they are available to customers in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman before the games start on July 26.

All items in the Olympic collection are decorated with the famous five Olympic rings symbol and are manufactured by specialized suppliers in Turkey.

This was based on a licensing agreement that Trendyol signed with the International Olympic Committee in December.

Trendyol also became an IOC E-Commerce Services Partner at the time under its strategic investor, Alibaba’s Worldwide Olympic Partnership. This allows the use of Olympic marks and images in Turkey and European Economic Area countries.

Trendyol Group CEO Caglayan Cetin said the company was “extremely proud” to launch the Olympic collection, which “will delight Olympic fans around the world.”

“This eclectic range of products, designed by our in-house designers and manufactured by high-quality Turkish suppliers, underlines our long-standing commitment to supporting Turkish talent in the international arena,” he said.

Sports fans can also purchase these products at the Olympic Museum store in Lausanne, Switzerland and via the official online store of the Olympic Games.

Nearly 15,000 athletes will compete in this year’s Olympic Games in Paris, which will last until August 11, and the Paralympic Games, which will be held from August 28 to September 8.

Turkey, then the Ottoman Empire, first sent athletes to the Olympic Games in 1908. It will again field a team in Paris in 18 disciplines, making the Olympic Collection even more relevant as its citizens and millions of nationalities cheer on their athletes.

The collection solidifies the company’s presence as one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms, with a multi-category offering. This includes its own brand, Trendyol Collection.

Trendyol has come a long way since it was founded in Turkey 14 years ago. It now connects over 250,000 merchants and brands with at least 40 million customers on dedicated apps in local languages.

The Istanbul-based platform also wholesales its Trendyol Collection brand to partner platforms in over 100 countries worldwide
