Komatsu completes acquisition of GHH

It has been more than 18 months since Komatsu announced in December 2022 that it had entered into an agreement to acquire GHH. Now, the transaction has finally been completed.

Gelsenkirchen-based GHH, formerly part of the Schmidt Kranz Group, produces articulated loaders and dump trucks, primarily for the underground mining and tunnelling industry.

“GHH’s talented employees are now part of Komatsu, and our new combined team will work to expand our offering and increase customer access to our products in new territories,” said Peter Salditt, president of Komatsu’s Mining Division.

“We are excited to begin this collaboration, which will allow us to add value to our customers’ operations.”
