AP TET 2024 Notification Released: The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has released the notification for the Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (AP TET) scheduled for July 2024. Candidates can download the notification from aptet.apcfss.in. The application process will begin on July 4 and end on July 17 and the payment window will be available from July 3 to July 16.

The exam is scheduled to be held from August 5 to 20, and the results will be announced on August 30. Below are the important dates to remember:

The result of the AP TET February exam, which was postponed for a long time, was declared last month. The application fee for the AP TET July exam is ₹750 for each paper (1A, 1B, 2A and 2B).

AP TET 2024 Exam Eligibility

The examination is for those aspiring to become teachers in Government Schools, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipalities, AP Model Schools, AP Residential Schools, all public benefit schools, private aided schools and private unaided schools under the state of Andhra Pradesh for classes 1 to 8.

AP TET Credits 2024

To pass the exam, candidates in the open category must secure at least 60 per cent marks. Candidates in the BC category must secure at least 50 per cent, while candidates in the SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities (PH) and Ex-Servicemen categories must secure at least 40 per cent marks.

In teacher recruitment, 20 percent weightage will be given to the AP TET exam score and 80 percent to the corresponding Teacher recruitment exam score. The exam certificate will be valid for life.
