As part of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), the European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA) has presented a new interactive publication highlighting CEF Energy’s contribution to the development of a strong and sustainable European energy network. Entitled “Interconnected Sustainable Energy Infrastructure for Europe”, this initiative marks an important milestone in the #10YearsofCEF campaign.

The digital publication, launched during the Energy Infrastructure Forum on 27 June, serves as an interactive platform that showcases CEF Energy’s broad impact across multiple energy sectors. The website features comprehensive narratives, vivid images, detailed data and, importantly, interactive maps that allow users to explore CEF Energy projects across the European Union.

The publication focuses on key areas of interest, including electricity, smart grids, natural gas, CO2 networks and renewable energy. It aims to show how EU investments in cross-border infrastructure over the years have significantly strengthened the continent’s energy networks, bringing tangible benefits to businesses and citizens.

Visitors to the interactive website can explore maps and read detailed information about supported projects, highlighting CEF Energy’s key role in achieving the European Green Deal’s decarbonisation goals for 2030 and 2050.
