Carol Dover, who joined the association in 2019 as director of corporate resources and holds that position today, said she was “honoured” to be appointed to the role.

The move is part of a senior management restructuring that will also see the appointment of a new executive director of housing and executive director of people and neighbourhoods.

Two Rivers said Ms Dover had “a wealth of experience” in both the commercial and social housing sectors.

She was head of finance at Connexus before joining the Gloucestershire-based housing association. Before that, she was deputy director of finance at the University of Worcester and head of finance at Marches Housing Association in Herefordshire.

Mrs Dover has also held various financial positions with commercial organisations including Wyevale Garden Centres, HP Bulmer Limited and Kraft Jacobs Suchard.

She said she felt “very honoured” to have been given the role.

Ms Dover added: “This is a unique organisation that has the power to make a real difference to thousands of families living in our homes.

“I am excited about the future of the organisation and look forward to working with Hayley and the team to meet the expectations of our tenants.”

Hayley Selway, CEO of Two Rivers, said: “Carol has absolutely earned this position.

“This is a recognition of her hard work and dedication to Two Rivers Housing over the past five years and her drive to help the team achieve the best outcomes for our tenants.

“I am truly grateful for her help and support over the past few months as I settle into my new role as CEO, and I truly look forward to working together to grow our organization in the years to come.”

Ms. Selway joined as CEO in December. Two Rivers recently announced the appointment of a new board chair.
