Pakistan, Jordan to strengthen cooperation in various sectors

Pakistan and Jordan agreed to explore opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and education.

The decision was made during a meeting between Minister of Economy Ahad Khan Cheema and Jordanian Ambassador Dr Maen Khreasat in Islamabad today.

On the occasion, Ahad Cheema highlighted the significant demand for Pakistani cotton fabrics and encouraged Jordanian businesses to consider opportunities in the country’s thriving textile and clothing sector.

For his part, Ambassador Khreasat expressed gratitude for the Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme scholarships that Jordanian students benefit from and stressed the need to diversify the disciplines offered.
