Tinubu appoints Salamatu Ahmed as FGSHLB executive secretary

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hajiya Salamatu Ladi Ahmed as the Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board, FGSHLB.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, disclosed this on Monday, July 1, 2024, while handing over the Instrument of Appointment to the new Executive Secretary in her office.

Salamatu, the Chief Operating Officer of the Board, replaces Alhaji Ibrahim Mairiga, who has gone on final leave before the end of his four-year term in September 2024.

Congratulating the newly appointed person, HoSF instructed him/her to use the wealth of experience gained over the years to ensure full implementation of the Board’s primary mandate.
