APCO kicks off second half of the year with 2 more acquisitions

APCO Holdings started the second half of the year by returning to the acquisition market.

On Monday, the automotive F&I products supplier and administrator, which owns the EasyCare, GWC Warranty and Crystal Fusion brands, announced two more acquisitions, continuing moves made earlier this year and four more in 2023

The newest firms to join APCO’s portfolio include Capital Administrative Professionals and Rider’s Advantage,

Capital Administrative Professionals (CAP) is an F&I administrator that offers innovative and flexible products to automotive, RV and powersports agents and dealers nationwide. As of 2021, CAP supports over 700 dealers with products, training, wealth building and service.

“We are excited to welcome CAP to the APCO family,” APCO Holdings CEO Tony Wanderon said in a press release. “This strategic move strengthens our market position and aligns with our vision of delivering innovative products and solutions to dealers. We look forward to working with the talented CAP team and leveraging their expertise to drive growth and value for our customers.”

APCO Chief Revenue Officer Courtney Hoffman added, “The acquisition of CAP broadens our product portfolio and allows us to deliver what dealers and agents need from their F&I supplier. Michael and his team will fit seamlessly into our business, elevating the level of support we provide to our growing channels.”

The Michael Hoffman referred to is Capital Administrative Professionals CEO Michael Hunter

“We are excited to join APCO because it allows us to better support our agents and dealers across channels,” Hunter said. “The resources unlocked through this acquisition are unrivaled in the industry.”

Meanwhile, APCO continued its acquisition Crystal Fusion May 1st by adding Rider’s Advantage, a comprehensive financial and insurance agency for the motorsports industry.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Rider’s Advantage to the APCO family,” Wanderon said in another press release. “This acquisition enhances our ability to deliver the products and services that powersports dealers want and need, and it also increases our ability to support dealers across multiple channels.”

Since its inception, Rider’s Advantage has built a broad product offering sold through over 1,000 sports car, boat and camper showrooms.

“The addition of Rider’s Advantage deepens our expertise in the powersports space – increasing the value we provide to dealers and agents,” said Hoffman. “I am confident that Rob and his team will make an immediate impact in this segment of our business, and I look forward to seeing how we combine.”

And that Rob is Rob Hefner, who is the CEO of Rider’s Advantage

“Joining APCO allows us to provide an unprecedented level of value and support to the industry while growing and preserving the integrity of our brand,” said Hefner. “We are incredibly honored to be part of the APCO family.”
