Nemetschek Group has completed the acquisition of GoCanvas Holdings, Inc.

Acquisition closing on July 1 as planned

Munich, July 2, 2024 – Nemetschek Group, a leading global provider of software solutions to the AEC/O and media industries, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of GoCanvas Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of field workforce collaboration software that digitizes traditional paper-based processes, simplifies controls, enhances security and maximizes regulatory compliance.

It fits perfectly into the portfolio of Nemetschek’s Build & Construct division, creating a unique construction ecosystem

Combining the Nemetschek Group’s existing capabilities in the Build & Construct segment with leading cloud and mobile SaaS solutions enabling paperless data collection, reporting and integration of field data with GoCanvas opens up enormous opportunities for field workers in the construction industry and several related industries.

The complementary technologies, customer bases and regional sales divisions of GoCanvas and Nemetschek Group will provide significant growth opportunities and lead to technology synergies through improved market and customer access throughout the AEC/O lifecycle. In addition, the acquisition will further strengthen Nemetschek Group’s position in the U.S., while Nemetschek will provide GoCanvas with a unique position to expand into Europe and the Asia Pacific region.

GoCanvas, a pure software-as-a-service offering, will further accelerate Nemetschek’s transition to a subscription-based, software-as-a-service business model, which is one of the company’s key strategic priorities.
