Apple today released the second beta of the upcoming macOS 14.6 update to public beta testers, allowing non-developers to test the software before it is released. Today’s public beta comes two weeks after Apple released the first public beta.

macOS Sonoma 4
Beta testers can sign up in the Software Update section of the System Settings app. Under Beta Updates, simply toggle Sonoma Public Beta. Remember, you must sign up to participate in Apple’s beta testing.

No new features for Mac have been found in the developer betas of macOS Sonoma 14.6, so it’s unclear what might be included. With Apple now working on macOS Sequoia, work on ‌macOS Sonoma‌ is starting to wrap up, so this is likely a bug-fix update.
