Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 Pre-Unboxing Photos Leaked

With less than two weeks to go before Samsung’s Unpacked event on July 10, alleged images of two new foldable devices have leaked: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

This story is part of Samsung EventCNET’s collection of news, tips, and tricks about Samsung’s most popular products.

As reported by 9to5Google, leaker Evan Blass posted the rendered images on social media and in his Substack newsletter late Thursday evening. More images were posted on the WinFuture website, showing additional colors of the two new devices that are set to be announced at Unpacked, which will take place in Paris.

Judging by the new images, the Fold 6 will be available in pink, midnight blue, and silver, while the Flip 6 is shown in silver, green, light blue, and yellow.

The updates to the Flip 6 are expected to be minor, at least in terms of design, but the phone will likely feature a new processor to match the flagship Galaxy S, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, although there could be different variants. The Flip 6 could also feature a bigger battery and an improved camera.

As for the Fold 6, it could have a larger screen and a design closer to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It could also be released in a variant version, but it may not get the camera upgrade.

Samsung has dominated the foldable phone market so far, but it now faces competition from Google’s Pixel Fold, the OnePlus Open, and the Motorola Razr. The company has hinted that both new phones will come with new AI features.
