SIFC reviews progress across sectors

ISLAMABAD – The Executive Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) on Tuesday reviewed the progress made in various sectors. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives and was attended by concerned federal and provincial stakeholders and senior government officials. The Committee also reviewed the progress made in various initiatives related to development of inclusive human resources to support key sectors of the economy, an important pillar of SIFC in contributing to socio-economic development. The Ministries presented the progress made in various projects and policy initiatives, led by the SIFC forum and presented comprehensive plans for expediting various matters. The Committee also streamlined the decisions required from the management through the Apex forum.
