Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024: It’s that time of year when Samsung introduces new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Watch, and earphones. With the Galaxy Unpacked event just 7 days away, the anticipation for what will be announced is growing with each passing day. Over the past few months, we’ve heard a lot of rumors about the expected launch of the device along with announcements about the Galaxy AI. The Galaxy Unpacked event happens twice a year, once when the company announces its S series smartphone and the other time when it launches the next generation of foldable devices. Since the January event has come to an end, the next Unpacked 2024 event will be held on July 10, 2024, in Paris. Samsung will be hosting the live event which will also be live streamed on Samsung.com and their YouTube channel. In India, the live stream will start at 6:30 PM Indian time. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024: What to Expect

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will feature announcements related to hardware, software, and AI. The event page also highlights the tagline “the next frontier of Galaxy AI.” Hence, the next-generation Galaxy AI is expected to be announced with new features and advanced capabilities. Apart from the Galaxy AI, several devices are also expected to be announced, and the most anticipated are the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The foldable smartphones are expected to come with several upgrades in terms of design, features, and specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6

Based on previous leaks and rumors, Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices are expected to feature an increased aspect ratio for both the internal and external displays. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to feature flat edges instead of curved ones. Samsung is also rumored to be adding slim bezels and thinner hinges to make the device lightweight. However, based on the leaks, the smartphone has a more boxy design.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset to support advanced processing and deliver efficient multitasking capabilities. In terms of cameras, both devices are not expected to receive major upgrades over their predecessors. However, the foldable devices are rumored to get an improved battery size, suggesting better battery life. Apart from Samsung’s next-gen foldable devices, the company is also expected to announce the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Buds 3.

Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Buds 3

Samsung is also expected to announce the next-generation Galaxy Watch along with a new speculated ‘Ultra’ variant. The Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to be announced in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm, while the Watch Ultra might only come in a single 47mm size. Rumors have it that the Watch 7 will be powered by a 3nm Exynos chip along with an improved 32GB of storage. The Watch 7 is expected to be backed by a 300mAh and 425mAh battery respectively. On the other hand, the Watch Ultra might pack a 590mAh battery.

Apart from the smartwatches, the Galaxy Buds 3 will also debut with improved features, Galaxy AI integration, controls, new design, and more, the Bud 3 is said to feature an inspired design based on leaked images. The leaks suggest that the buds will feature high-quality audio at 24-bit/96 kHz, Bluetooth 5.4, improved ANC, health tracking features, and more.
