Vizrt Strengthens Security, Sustainability and Channel Operations with New Executive Appointments

Vizrt has made several new executive appointments aimed at improving customer safety, increasing customer satisfaction and strengthening channel operations.

After significant investments in developing the capabilities and competences of its IT team, Vizrt is refining its security policy and introducing improved customer and partner portals to improve the quality of customer service, implementation, communication and fulfillment of its customers’ requirements.

The IT team is led by Petra Tesch, Vizrt’s CIO, while newly appointed Chief Security Officer Elie Feghaly is responsible for the organization’s cybersecurity, with the goal of strengthening the security of Vizrt’s on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments, and proprietary software.

“The trust that our customers and partners have in Vizrt and its products is paramount. Our comprehensive approach provides robust end-to-end protection across Vizrt, protecting both our own assets and our customers’ data from evolving cyber threats,” Feghaly said.

Both Tesch and Feghaly report to Vizrt CFO Pierre Milet. He joined Vizrt in January 2024 and brings more than 30 years of financial and commercial leadership experience from global technology companies. He joins with a mission to accelerate the company’s investments in technology that support profitable growth, with a focus on a subscription-based model.

Underscoring Vizrt’s commitment to sustainability compliance, the company welcomes Avinash Kumar as its ESG Controller.

Kumar’s expertise includes integrating sustainable practices, addressing ESG issues and navigating the changing regulatory landscape, including compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

“Vizrt’s focus on sustainability is not just a corporate responsibility – it is a strategic advantage that delivers significant benefits to our customers and partners. By embedding sustainable practices into our operations, we ensure long-term profitability, resilience and a brighter future,” said Michael Hallén, CEO of Vizrt.

The two additional executive appointments are Paul Shutt, head of channel sales, Asia Pacific, and Karl Bradford, who has been named head of channel sales, Americas and Canada.

Since joining Vizrt in Asia Pacific in 2011 as a Systems Engineer, Shutt has been promoted to several key positions, including Deputy Global Head of Customer Success. With his leadership skills, operational experience and knowledge of customers, partners and businesses across the region, he is well-positioned to leverage APAC channel partners to unlock new revenue streams and drive market growth.

Bradford joins Vizrt with a background in building channel development at Apple, having spent over a decade at the tech giant. He has extensive experience in developing and maintaining strong partner ecosystems. Along with his team of channel account managers in the Americas, Bradford will work directly with Vizrt’s channel partner community to gather feedback on product, market trends, training requirements and sales opportunities to enable a thriving channel network.

“Our channel partners are key to enabling scalable growth for our company and realizing our vision to empower content creators of all sizes with access to the best tools, whether they’re podcasters or broadcasters. By democratizing access to our best-in-class broadcast products and focusing on upskilling and certifying our partners on the latest technologies, we can ensure they’re the first to adapt to changing market demands and deliver exactly what our users need,” said Marco Kraak, General Manager, Channel Sales, Vizrt.
