Zenless Zone Zero Release Date – Countdown to Genshin Impact’s New Action RPG Has Begun

The release of Zenless Zone Zero is approaching, giving us a foretaste of what Hoyoverse studio has in store for Genshin Impact.

If you still have to, you can pre-load the new roguelike RPG via the HoYoPlay app to make sure you’re ready for the July 3rd release. As for when Zenless Zone Zero unlocks, it’s a simultaneous release, so it depends on where you are in the world – so you could be waiting until the early morning hours of July 4th. Zenless Zone Zero unlocks at the same time for everyone, which is better news for some than others. Given the pre-load, you’ll have some time to play the roguelike RPG on July 3rd if you live in America, though those in the UK and Europe will likely have to wait until the following day – unless you’re a sleep-deprived person.

Countdown to Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero is an anime RPG that shares many similarities with other Hoyoverse games, such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. However, its roguelike elements set it apart. You’ll see this when you enter a dungeon—here called Hollow—and come across a board that shows you different paths to your goal. You can step on a tile that will throw you into a fight, offer you loot, or be part of a puzzle to progress.

We didn’t love Zenless Zone Zero when we first tried it last year, though various updates make the game seem more promising. Of course, we don’t have long to wait to see how good it will be.
