Jinkosolar Unveils Its FIRST NEOGREEN Panels Made from Renewable Energy

JinkoSolar, one of the world’s largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers, today unveiled Neo Green panels. These N-type TOPCon Tiger Neo panels are manufactured in factories that have received the “Zero Carbon Factory” certification from TÜV Rheinland for compliance with the criteria and requirements of such certification. JinkoSolar is also the first company in the industry to receive the “Zero Carbon Factory” certification from TÜV Rheinland for silicon ingot production, silicon wafer cutting, solar cell production and solar module production. This milestone marks an important step in the company’s journey towards its goal of promoting sustainability, innovation and environmental responsibility.

Neo Green’s initial 5GW capacity is the result of years of significant R&D, as well as maximizing the adoption of an environmentally conscious approach throughout its vertically integrated supply chain, including the use of solar, hydro and wind energy at its wafer, cell and module factories in Leshan, Chuxiong and Shangrao. As part of its broader environmental efforts, in addition to its goal of achieving 100% renewable electricity for production and manufacturing, JinkoSolar will continue to expand the use of recycled materials and increase the use of LNG-powered electric trucks and ships. In addition, JinkoSolar is also committed to gradually reducing the use of plastic in its packaging.
