Mizuno MXR Sneaker | Release Date & Price

The influence of Y2K is everywhere, with many brands offering retro running shoes with a modern twist. Mizuno is no stranger to this trend, having just launched its latest MXR trainers, capturing the spirit of the era from a fresh perspective.

Building on heritage, the MXR pays homage to the Mizuno Maximizer 13. It features a mesh base for ventilation, covered with synthetic leather overlays for a touch of classic style. True to Mizuno’s identity, the brand’s iconic logo adorns both the sides and tongue labels.

Doubling down on the Y2K aesthetic, the Mizuno MXR comes in two colorways to complement your style – “White/Black/Silver” or “White/Blue/Silver.”

Mark your calendars for July 5th, because that’s when these kicks will release at Mizuno and select retailers. Each pair will retail for 11,000 JPY (~68 USD).

In other news, a new Slice x Converse Jack Purcell “Navy” has arrived.
