Assa Abloy accused by Justice Department of violating antitrust settlement

Assa Abloy AB violates the terms of the settlement that allowed the company to finalize the acquisition of the entity Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc.– says the Department of Justice.

The Justice Department said in a letter filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that Assa Abloy is refusing to pay the costs of an independent monitor the court appointed to review aspects of the agreement.
