Rise48 Equity Makes Two Multifamily Acquisitions, W Flats and Matthews Pointe Apartments in Charlotte

Rise48 Equity, a leading multifamily real estate investment group, recently announced the acquisition of W Flats Apartments (247 units) and Matthews Pointe Apartments (100 units) in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Both properties will be rebranded as “Rise Blue Ridge” and “Rise Matthews Pointe,” respectively, and are located in premium submarkets in the Charlotte MSA. Rise48 Equity plans to revitalize W Flats Apartments and Matthews Pointe Apartments with an investment of more than $7 million.

These acquisitions mark a significant milestone as they are the company’s 52nd and 53rd acquisitions since 2019 and its first two transactions in the Charlotte metropolitan area, expanding its reach to the East Coast.

Renovations to both properties will include:

Platinum level interior upgrades including new white cabinets with shaker doors, quartz countertops, subway kitchen backsplash, plumbing fixtures, stainless steel appliances, vinyl plank flooring and updated lighting. Exterior transformation including fresh 3-tone paint, new LED illuminated monument sign and improved marketing banners.
