NEW DELHI: Energy stocks were trading lower at 10:55 am on Thursday

Top gainers included Inox Wind Ltd. (up 11.71%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd. (up 7.49%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd. (up 5.00%), Karma Energy Ltd. (up 5.00%), GE T&D India Ltd. (up 3.30%), GE Power India Ltd. (up 2.47%), SJVN Ltd. (up 2.13%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat) Ltd. (up 2.00%), KEC International Ltd. (up 1.31%) and NHPC Ltd. (up 1.21%).

Top losers included Indo Tech Transformers Ltd. (down 2.98%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. (down 2.24%), Indowind Energy Ltd. (down 1.31%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. (down 1.16%), NLC India Ltd. (down 1.11%), Energy Development Company Ltd. (down 1.03%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd. (down 0.99%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India) Ltd. (down 0.92%), CESC Ltd. (down 0.89%) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (down 0.77%).

The NSE Nifty50 index was up 29.66 points at 24,316.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 127.33 points at 80,114.13 around 10:55 am.

HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 2.24%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (up 1.81%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 1.56%), Infosys Ltd. (up 1.42%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.23%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 1.22%), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 1.04%), Asian Paints Ltd. (up 1.02%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 0.97%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 0.91%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 2.09%), Adani Enterprises Ltd. (down 1.28%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 1.21%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (down 1.07%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 1.06%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 0.92%), Titan Company Ltd. (down 0.61%), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.6%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.53%) and State Bank of India (down 0.52%) were trading in the red.
