Modern Transport Company Appoints World-Class Solar Developer X-NOOR to Reduce Carbon Footprint

Dubai’s logistics sector takes a significant step towards sustainability as X-NOOR, a joint venture between global solar leader X-ELIO and GCC infrastructure giant DUTCO, announces a 20-year agreement with Modern Freight Company (MFC). The partnership aims to provide renewable energy to MFC’s Logistics Park and Logistics Center in Dubai.

The partnership underlines both companies’ commitment to a greener future, with the rooftop photovoltaic installation expected to produce around 18 GWh of energy over two decades. The installation will enable the warehouse to operate on 100% renewable energy, significantly reducing CO2 emissions compared to traditional energy sources.
