Modern Transport Company Appoints World-Class Solar Developer X-NOOR to Reduce Carbon Footprint

Dubai’s logistics sector takes a significant step towards sustainability as X-NOOR, a joint venture between global solar leader X-ELIO and GCC infrastructure giant DUTCO, announces a 20-year agreement with Modern Freight Company (MFC). The partnership aims to provide renewable energy to MFC’s Logistics Park and Logistics Center in Dubai.

The partnership underlines both companies’ commitment to a greener future, with the rooftop photovoltaic installation expected to produce around 18 GWh of energy over two decades. The installation will enable the warehouse to operate on 100% renewable energy, significantly reducing CO2 emissions compared to traditional energy sources.

X-NOOR, an innovative solar developer with offices in Riyadh, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and ongoing operations in Oman and Bahrain, is committed to implementing sustainable solutions that leverage the region’s abundant solar energy.
