Friends of Anchor CEO Appointed to Balmoral Group Board

Ms Hogg is currently Chief Executive of Friends of ANCHOR, a charity supporting cancer and haematology patients in the north of Scotland.

She also serves as a trustee of the Milne Family Foundation, a charity founded by her father, Sir James Milnewho is the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Balmoral Group.

Sir Milne said: “I am pleased to welcome Sarah to the Board of Balmoral Group as a non-executive director.

“Her appointment will give her a thorough understanding of how the group operates, ensuring we can continue to support Friends of ANCHOR and The Milne Family Foundation in the future.

“Sarah’s extensive experience in community engagement will provide a fresh perspective to the Balmoral Group Board as we continue to diversify our operations.”

Ms Hogg added: “Balmoral Group has always been an important part of family life and I am delighted to join the board and play an active role in running the business.

“It is essential that the Balmoral Group board has a broad range of experience beyond the traditional manufacturing background, particularly as we embark on new ventures such as our recent acquisition of The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.”
