Del Monte Foods Hires Abhinav Kapoor as CEO

Del Monte Foods has announced the appointment of Abhinav Kapoor as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. His assumption of this responsibility as CEO will further strengthen the company’s growth momentum in the Indian FMCG market and consolidate Del Monte Foods’ position in the industry.

He will lead the Del Monte Foods senior management team across all functions and be responsible for the long-term business and company strategy in accordance with the direction of the Del Monte Foods Board of Directors.

This appointment underscores Del Monte Foods’ commitment to strengthening its leadership team and expanding its operational capabilities. Abhinav brings over two decades of extensive sales and distribution experience in the FMCG/Consumer Businesses sector.

In his role as CEO, he will focus on elevating the Del Monte brand by consolidating the product portfolio and streamlining the distribution network to ensure seamless delivery of the highest quality products to customers.

He was previously Vice President, Sales at VIP Industries, where he was responsible for P&L management, multi-channel and IT sales. Prior to VIP Industries, Abhinav was Business Director, Foods and Snacks at Cavinkare. His distinguished career also includes key positions at Britannia Industries, Mondelez and Marico.

Abhinav holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and a Bachelor of Commerce from Symbiosis College for Arts and Commerce.
