She spoke at a news conference on Thursday after the swearing-in of a new multi-party national executive.

The formation of the national unity government raised questions about political decisions.

Ntshavheni said a two-day Lekgotla Cabinet meeting would be held next week to set government priorities for the coming year.

“From the manifestos of the political parties that are in the GNU, the CEOs look at the priorities of the ANC, DA, Al Jama-ah, GOOD, PAC, UDM, IFP – and because there is a requirement that says you can’t include all the priorities, it will be difficult to implement it. If it doesn’t help us achieve the goals of the National Development Plan, it can’t be part of the competing priorities.”

The Minister said that a commission will be established to resolve differences of opinion within GNU.
