How to Watch Apple TV+ on Android and Other Devices

While Apple TV+ is primarily designed as a streaming service for Apple device users, there are ways for people who don’t have one to get in on the fun. If you only have an Android gadget or a Chrome OS or Windows computer to watch content on, you can access the Apple TV+ catalog via a web browser. Here’s how:

  1. Open a new web browser tab and go to tv.apple.com.
  2. Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID and password.
  3. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, enter the code you may receive in an email or on another mobile device.
  4. Confirm that you trust the browser you are using to access Apple TV+.
  5. When prompted, add or verify your credit card to make sure you’re eligible to watch Apple TV+ on the web.

According to Apple, you can only watch Apple TV+ via Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers, but based on testing, some browsers allowed access. If you try to launch Apple TV+ in a browser and get an alert saying “Not available in this browser,” it means that your selected browser is not supported and you will need to download Chrome or Firefox to continue watching on your device. Additionally, to use the Apple TV+ autoplay feature in a web browser, you may need to temporarily disable an extension or app that blocks ads while watching.

If you have a Windows computer, you have an additional option to download the Apple TV app. Simply launch the Microsoft Store app, search for “Apple TV.” Select Apple TV from the search results, click Get, then launch it after installation. Use your Apple ID to sign in and follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the platform setup.
