Media Week Media Movers presents a summary of the largest personnel moves in the industry that took place in the last week.

This week:

James Warburtonformer managing director and CEO of Seven West Media, has joined the board of photo-sharing app Tinybeans as a non-executive director. His term began on July 1.

After 16 years of work in the company and five years as Marketing Director, Nikki Clarkson leaves SCA.

Marty Sheargold and Triple M confirmed that Sheargold will step down as director of 105.1 Triple M Melbourne Breakfast.

Ryan Moloney, who first appeared on screens in 1995, will bid farewell to Ramsay Street at the end of this year after a long stint on Australian soap opera Neighbours.

After five years on the couch, Lisa Millar is leaving ABC News Breakfast to devote himself full time to other projects at the ABC.

Leo Burnett Australia has been promoted to Associate Creative Director Stacey Karayannis as Creative Director in Melbourne.

Thinkerbell has announced executive appointments across its offices in Melbourne (South), Sydney (North) and New Zealand (Aotearoa).

In Melbourne, Nick Bennett was promoted to the position of general director and Tom Wenborn to Tinker’s creative director. Paul Swann has been promoted to the position of creative lead for Tinker in Sydney. The creative agency has also appointed Jacqueline Archer as national head of integrated manufacturing, joining the company from Bastion Make.

Melanie Withnall, Head of SCA News and Information and Jennifer GogginThe head of LiSTNR’s reportage and drama programs department has left the station.

Seven West Media has appointed Chris Jones to the new role of director, network sports. In the next nominations, executive producer Seven AFL, Gary O’Keefehas been promoted to a new role as head of AFL and sports innovation; he is also executive producer of horse racing Andrzej Hore-Lacy has been appointed Head of Horse Racing and Executive Producer of Motorsports Kirsty Bradmore becomes head of the digital sports department and producer of cricket and horse racing programmes Joel Starcevic was appointed head of cricket.

Cosmopolitan The magazine will return to the Australian market on August 12 under the leadership of the publisher Katarina Kroslakova and its publishing house KK Press in association with Hearst Magazines International.

The group is headed by the editor-in-chief Tessa Oglewhose career included several notable publications, including Age newspaper and Conversation. Ogle has moved from the news industry to the fashion and beauty industry, introducing Harper’s Bazaar AND Esquire online as a digital director.

McDonald’s Australia Marketing Director, Samantha McLeodannounced her departure from the fast food giant after ten months in the role.

Bohemia has appointed Natasha Young to the newly created role of Group Commercial and Partnerships Director. She spent the last six years at media agency M&C Saatchi Group and was previously a client leader for a number of key accounts, including the Australian Retirement Trust.

Adobe has appointed Keith Eadie to the APAC CEO to lead the business across the region. Eadie will report to Stephen FriederChief Revenue Officer at Adobe Enterprise.

Interbrand promotes design director Megan Schierhout as Deputy Creative Director. She will lead Interbrand’s creative practice in Australia, using design to develop brand solutions for a range of clients, as well as overseeing the creative talent within the team.

Rachel Walker joins Saatchi & Saatchi Australia as Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing the national strategy and planning practice. She brings over 30 years of experience across the UK and Australian markets to the creative agency. She replaces Iona Macgregor, who joined whiteGREY in October as Chief Strategy Officer.

Neon Black has appointed Leela Maclean to the newly created position of Director of Affiliate Marketing, thereby strengthening the affiliate marketing department.

iProspect has announced a hiring Patrick Double to a Senior Customer Service Partner based in Melbourne.

Nine CEOs Mike Sneesby informed employees that the company intends to lay off “approximately 200 employees” in its publishing division to “compensate for the loss of revenue caused by the Meta transaction and challenges in the advertising market.”

Seven West Media has appointed Katie Finney to a new role as national television sales director, effective immediately. She will be responsible for Seven’s national television sales team.

Finney will work closely with Seven’s national digital sales director, Rachel’s Pageand from Vikki Friscicwho was appointed to the new position of head of sales strategy and implementation earlier this week.

Lucio Ribeiro left Seven West Media, voluntarily leaving his job as director of digital marketing and innovation in a series of large-scale layoffs. Ribeiro had just celebrated his first anniversary at the network.

Zitcha appointed Kate Marshall AND Genevieve Cleaver to newly created leadership roles, strengthening the capabilities of the Customer Success team. Marshall joins as Director of Customer Success for international markets, including the US, Canada, the UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Cleaver takes on the role of Customer Success leader for APAC.

Vistar Media has opened a new office in Melbourne and hired two new people as it expands its capabilities and operations across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

The Melbourne office management is responsible for Ben Swaik in the newly created position of Customer Service Director, Demand Sales in Melbourne, alongside Alice Aram who joins as Account Director.
