Audit Committee to Examine Commonwealth Regulations

The Joint Committee on Public Accounts and Audit (JCPAA) has launched an inquiry into the application of Commonwealth rules.

The JCPAA Chair, Mr Julian Hill MP, said that “Commonwealth compliance is critical to achieving policy outcomes. Multiple Commonwealth agencies have to manage compliance with limited resources, hence evidence-based and risk-based responses are essential to focusing limited resources.”
