Centennial Airport Welcomes Modern Aviation, Which Purchases Two Hangars

Modern Aviation Expands Presence at Centennial Airport with Acquisition of Hangar Complexes

Modern Aviation is looking to expand its presence at Centennial Airport by acquiring two large hangars and office buildings from Floors and Doors. The purchase agreement includes Hangar 9 at 8156 Interport Boulevard and Hangar 10 at 8208 Interport Boulevard, for a total of approximately 113,000 square feet of buildings.

The hangar complexes are strategically located across from Modern Aviation’s main FBO campus at Centennial Airport. The acquisition represents a significant step in the company’s expansion plan at one of the nation’s seven largest general aviation airports.

Mark Carmen, CEO of Modern Aviation, expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating, “We are very excited to acquire these properties and expand our presence at Centennial Airport. We have been looking for opportunities to grow our business at Centennial Airport since our original acquisition of the FBO in November 2018.”

This acquisition follows Modern Aviation’s recent purchase of leasehold improvements from The SunBorne Companies, further solidifying the company’s position at Centennial Airport. The company is well on its way to becoming the largest FBO operator on the south side of the airport, with plans to acquire the Signature Flight Support South FBO terminal.

With the upcoming closing of the acquisition in the coming months, Modern Aviation’s total hangar space at Centennial Airport will reach approximately 179,000 square feet. The company’s commitment to exceptional customer service and safety has consistently earned it recognition as the top FBO at Centennial Airport and the top contractor in the country.

Modern Aviation’s continued expansion at Centennial Airport underscores its commitment to meeting the growing demand of the aviation industry. Stay tuned for more updates as the company strengthens its presence at this leading aviation hub.
