The acquisition, announced on July 1, 2024, positions Singularity 6 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Daybreak. The move is expected to strengthen the growth and reach of Palia, an online multiplayer game known for its cozy community and life simulation elements. Daybreak, known for its extensive experience in large-scale online multiplayer games, intends to leverage its resources and expertise to support Singularity 6 in bringing Palia to a wider audience across all major gaming platforms.

Singularity 6 will continue to operate independently under the leadership of co-founders Anthony Leung and Aidan Karabaich. The studio will benefit from the support of Daybreak’s senior management team, including CEO Ji Ham. The partnership is expected to provide Singularity 6 with the necessary resources to enhance Palia’s gameplay and social features, providing players with a high-quality experience.
