Emirates announces senior appointments – GulfToday

Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, on Friday announced executive appointments to support the organisation’s growth and strengthen its management team.

The latest list of promotions and leadership positions includes 7 UAE nationals, many of whom have built their careers within Emirates Group in various roles and continue to play a key role in the organisation’s success.

Sheikh Ahmed said: “These appointments reflect the expanded scale, breadth and ambition of our business. I am delighted that we have been able to fill these positions with internal talent, including UAE nationals. The Emirates Group will continue to invest in being the employer of choice for the best talent in the industry, delivering world-leading products and services, and reflecting Dubai’s vision to be number one in everything we do.” Appointments from 8 July: Ali Mubarak Al Soori, Director, Procurement and Facilities – Ahmed Safa, Head of Engineering and MRO – Badr Abbas, Senior Vice President, Emirates SkyCargo Division – Capt. Mark Burtonwood, Senior Vice President, Group Security and Network Operations – Mostafa Karam, Senior Vice President, Customers and Service Audit – Yousuf Mohammad Ali, Senior Vice President, Group Procurement and Logistics – David Broz, Senior Vice President, Aviation and Policy and Aerospace – Devarajan Srinivasan, Senior Vice President, Facilities and Asset Management – Mahmood Al Khaja, Senior Vice President, Materials Management and Repairs – Will Lofberg, Senior Vice President, International and Government Affairs Appointments effective September 1: Shahreyar Nawabi, General Manager, Emirates Flight Catering – Mahmood Ameen, Senior Vice President, Aircraft Projects Engineering and Procurement.

The Emirates Group recently released its Annual Report for 2023-24, achieving new record levels of profit, revenue and cash balance. Both Emirates and dnata reported significant growth in profit and revenue in 2023-24 as the Group expanded its operations globally to meet strong customer demand for its high-quality products and services.
