ZoomInfo (ZI) Reports Results Tomorrow: What to Expect

Sales Intelligence platform ZoomInfo will release results tomorrow after market hours. Here’s what investors need to know.

ZoomInfo beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.9% in the latest quarter, reporting revenue of $316.4 million, up 4.9% year over year. It was a mixed quarter for the company, with an impressive beat on analysts’ billing estimates, but management forecasting a slowdown in growth. It lost 49 enterprise customers paying more than $100,000 annually, ending with 1,820.

Analysts are expecting ZoomInfo revenue to rise 2.7% year over year to $308.9 million for the quarter, down from a 24.4% increase in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.23 per share.

Most analysts covering the company have reaffirmed their estimates over the past 30 days, suggesting they expect the company to maintain its earnings trajectory. ZoomInfo has missed Wall Street revenue estimates just once over the past two years, beating revenue expectations by an average of 2.2%.

Looking at ZoomInfo’s competitors in the sales and marketing software segment, some have already reported Q1 results, giving us a hint of what to expect. Freshworks reported year-over-year revenue growth of 19.9%, meeting analyst expectations, and Sprout Social reported revenue growth of 28.7%, in line with consensus estimates. Freshworks fell 19.6% after the results, while Sprout Social also fell 40.1%.

Growth stocks have been quite volatile since the start of 2024, and while some sales and marketing software stocks have fared slightly better, they haven’t been spared, with share prices down an average of 3.1% over the past month. ZoomInfo is up 2.8% in the same time frame and is heading for profits with an average analyst price target of $21.70 (up from the current share price of $16.28).
