NFL ordered to pay $4.7 billion in ‘Sunday Ticket’ antitrust case

LOS ANGELES — A federal jury has ordered the NFL to pay $4.7 billion for violating antitrust laws by distributing out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on a premium subscription service. The numbers from the June 27 verdict against the NFL were listed in a verdict form that was released to the Register of Cases Tuesday.
