Ai: Doctor uses AI and hi-tech gadgets to harass girl

Lucknow: A doctor from a private hospital has been accused of stalking and harassing a girl. Moreover, the accused used artificial intelligence and other modern gadgets to change her photos and threatened her father and brother with dire consequences. According to the girl’s father, the accused befriended the girl and obtained her photos, other documents and family photos. “He then opted for harassing tactics. When I came to know about it, I questioned him and asked him not to behave like that. My son also objected to his behaviour and requested him not to harass the victim,” the girl’s father told the police. He said that the accused kept a constant watch on his daughter’s activities as well as his own. “He managed to get information from spies or by spying on us whenever we negotiated the girl’s marriage and got the negotiations ended by giving wrong information about the girl. He demands money to free us from his harassing tactics,” he alleged. He said that the accused has been stalking the girl for the past few months. “He threatened to damage her face so that she could never show her face to anyone in society,” he alleged. SHO, Gomtinagar Vistar, Sudhir Awasthi said a criminal complaint has been filed and an investigation is on.
