Payments giant TransferMate enters the sector with Enroly and Intrinsiq partnerships

Enroly described its partnership with the platform as “a service that aims to simplify payments and refunds in the international student recruitment process.”

It will operate as a fully integrated TransferMate software within the Enroly CAS Shield system, with real-time payment status for admissions committees linked to student records.

The partnership will also see an improved refund system, offering “greater control over deposit withdrawals, reducing customer risk by keeping funds in escrow.”

“Enroly and TransferMate solve critical payment challenges for university teams, students and agents,” said Enroly CEO and co-founder Jeff Williams.

One director of visa and international support said that giving the “right people immediate access to payments” would really help students progress faster.

“Delays and lack of transparency in this process are slowing down admissions and causing anxiety among students,” said Dee de Rocha, from the University of Cumbria.

“I’m curious to see how this could streamline international payments for everyone involved,” she said.

Meanwhile, in school management, according to Intrinsiq’s Insider Blog, TransferMate’s partnership with Intrinsiq has been developing for several months.

As the blog reports, the deal means Intrinsiq’s customers, which largely include English language schools, will be able to use TransferMate as their payment solution on a new platform the companies have developed together.

This gives our customers more payment options, a more cost-effective solution and a better overall experience.

TransferMate said the infrastructure the system relies on was one of the “key reasons” Intrinsiq decided to partner.

“It gives our customers more payment options, a more cost-effective solution and an overall better experience. It’s a real step forward in the payments infrastructure that underpins our solutions,” noted Intrinsiq’s Mark Milford.

“Intrinsiq is known for creating bespoke solutions that meet the needs of its education customers,” said Thomas Butler, Education Commercial Director at TransferMate.

“Now they will be able to offer enhanced payment capabilities as part of that solution,” Butler said.
