Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) recruitment competition launches

Infrastructure Minister John O’Dowd has announced the launch of a recruitment campaign to appoint three members to the board of the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC).

NITHC operates within the Translink Group and is the main provider of public transport in the North.

The time commitment for this position will be approximately 2 working days per month. Non-executive members will be expected to attend all board meetings, sub-committee meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required. Non-executive members will receive a salary of £12,858 plus reasonable travel and subsistence expenses.

Nominations will begin on October 1, 2024 and will last for 4 years.

Applications will be accepted from all social groups.

Women, young people, disabled people and people from minority ethnic communities are currently underrepresented on DfI boards. Applications from members of these groups would be particularly welcome.
